Terms of Service | Quizilla

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Quizilla ("the Service") at quizilla.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Quizilla is an online quiz creation and management platform that allows users to create, share, and analyse quizzes. Access to the platform is free. Certain features — including publishing quizzes, AI question generation, SMS reminders, live sessions, and WhatsApp messages — consume credits that must be purchased in advance.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Quizilla to:

Create or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, or discriminatory
Collect personal data from quiz participants without their knowledge
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
Impersonate another person or organisation
Use the Service for spam or unsolicited communications

5. Credits and billing

Quizilla operates on a credit-based model. There are no subscription fees.

Credits are purchased in advance via credit packs.
Credits are tied to your workspace and cannot be transferred to another account or workspace.
Credits do not expire — purchased credits remain in your balance indefinitely.
A free credit allowance is granted on signup. Additional credits must be purchased.
Bonus credits (first-purchase bonus or pack bonus) are granted at our discretion and have no cash value.
All credit pack prices are displayed in USD. INR prices are shown as an estimate and may vary.
Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy. By purchasing credits you also agree to LemonSqueezy's terms of service.

6. No refund policy

All credit purchases are final and non-refundable.

We do not issue refunds for:

Credits that have been purchased but not yet used
Credits that have been consumed by actions on the platform
Bonus credits granted as part of a purchase promotion
Accounts that have been suspended or terminated due to a violation of these Terms

If you believe a charge was made in error (e.g. a duplicate transaction or an unauthorised payment), please contact us at support@quizilla.ai within 14 days of the charge. We will investigate and, if a genuine error occurred, resolve it at our discretion. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable law.

7. Content ownership

You retain ownership of all quiz content you create. By using the Service, you grant Quizilla a limited licence to store and display your content to provide the Service. We do not use your quiz content to train AI models.

8. Intellectual property

The Quizilla name, logo, platform code, and design are owned by Quizilla and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will be error-free. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days. Any unused credits are forfeited upon account termination for a Terms violation. Credits are not refunded upon voluntary account deletion.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
